Creating sub-categories

Adding sub-categories helps to group similar products together

Creating different categories is a great way to group related products together under a common name. But in same cases, it's desirable to create sub-categories to differentiate a group of products even further.

In order to create a sub-category, you will need to have created a top-level category first. If you have not created a top-level category yet, follow the below link in order to create your first category.

Creating a category

To create a sub-category, choose the top-level category where you want to nest the sub-category under, and click on the three dots (...) on the right of the category name. This will open a drop-down menu with different options.

On the drop-down menu, click the Create link. The page will reload, and you can continue to fill out the form to create a new sub-category. Once you have completed the form, click on the button to create your new sub-category. The sub-category will now be visible in your shop, as well as nested under your top-level category in the categories tree.

TIP: You can create as many levels of sub-categories as you need, and have many levels of nested categories.
